Crazy Dogs

So it's been much warmer this week than last week. Nani and I kept our window open last night and I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of about 20 dogs all barking to their hearts content. Very nice.

So, this morning I decided to go for a walk. And all the dogs who woke me up last night could not believe that I would dare walk past their house or take a picture of their bush. Rachel could probably track my progress down the street by listening to all the dogs freak out as I walked past them. Crazy dogs . . .

So here are some pictures I was able to take today before I made the dogs have heart attacks
.

Also Eliane and I did not end up going to the temple. Hopefully I'll get to go next week. And we didn't go to Dom Pedro yesterday either. Maybe Dom Pedro and I are not meant to be. Anyway, Eliane and I did go to the Iguatemi mall and we had a blast. I spent too much money, but had so much fun. I bought an awesome bag, some Havaianas, adorable flats, and really expensive Pizza Hut pizza.

Also my friend Augusta and I went to downtown Vinhedo yesterday and did some more shopping. We got delicious ice cream (it was pretty hot, mid 80s I think), I bought perfume, a cute hair clip, and some delicious chocolates with a passion fruit filling (Yum!) to share with the Silvas. After a couple hours of shopping we walked home. And then when Eliane got home, Augusta, Malcom, Ammon, Eliane, Rachel, and I went and got pastels at Caiu do Céu (fell from heaven). So good!!!!! I got a pizza one. Yum. It was a very fun night.

Get some salgadas when you're in down town vinhedo. It's right by the icecream place. Have you had coxinhas or pastels yet? So GOOD! (Hmm...there's another one i can't remember....)

Also, go visit the Caldo De Cana guy...he makes pretty good pastels, and will make some cane sugar juice right in front of you.

And, i'm sure you'll get to Dom Pedro. You're there for a while. I'll bet you'll go a couple times at least.

Be safe exploring! :) Those dogs are all pretty crazy.

I love looking at the pictures. Interesting subjects and a good photographer combined.

Haha! Holly I love what you said about how the dogs couldn't believe you would walk past their house...too funny. I can totally picture those indignant dogs.
