Handmade Bows

So last night these little girls rang the doorbell and Eliane went out to see what they wanted. I followed her and it turns out they were selling hair clips that they had made themselves. The girls were adorable, I love original homemade things, and I love hair things so I bought one. They didn’t have a large selection because they said someone just bought a lot of them. The one I got is cute, but I actually thought the middle part was brown but when I went inside it was grey. Anyway, I love how the stitches on it look like mine did when I was that age. They were so cute.
So this afternoon, the doorbell rings and Rachel comes to get me a minute later saying that the little girls from last night are back and do I want to see them. I grab my cash and go out. They said they had more bows this time. They really did have a lot more bows this time and I found one I really love.
I pay them, say, “Obrigada,” and we part ways with smiles on our faces. Rachel told me when I came back inside that when she went to answer the door they asked for the English girl, “Is this the place with the English girl?” So cute!
Now I’m wondering if they’ll keep coming back. I better get some more cash out. :) Actually Eliane said they live on the other side of town really far away. And when they were here last night it was completely dark and about 7pm. They can’t be more than 10 years old. Obviously they made it home safely though.

I took this other picture today while we were picking up Ammon’s friend Victor. It is just beautiful here.

Love the bows!!! I'm going to tell myself that the girls' mother was waiting for them in the car at the bottom of the hill...but seriously, cute bows. Do they have a clip or a pin on the back?
