Week of Christmas, Tuesday - Early Presents, Gingerbread Creations, Sub-for-Santa, and Babysitting

Becca, me, and Reid piled on the couch too early in the morning.
Ryan and Stacy went to Idaho for Christmas to be with Stacy's family. We exchanged presents Tuesday morning before they left.
I realize that generally this would be a crappy picture, but I love Avery's face and I think it looks cool. Avery was so fun with all his presents. He is good at unwrapping them and is excited to see them. Kids are so fun, especially at Christmastime.
Man! Do I look excited or what? That afternoon, Jordan and I went to the Cluff's house to make a gingerbread house and train. Jordan and Reid played Magic while Bec, Diane, Grandpa Cluff, and I made the gingerbread creations.
Rebecca and I made a rainbow train. Isn't it cute? I had a dream about rainbow stuff the next night...
Here are the "gingerbread s." We were so proud of our work.

Before the ginger house got finished, I had to leave to prepare for the sub-for-santa that I was in charge of. My good friend and neighbor, Rachel Routt, came with me as well as four young women. We went to Walmart and Famous Footware to get the things we needed. Then, we went to Rachel's house to wrap the gifts. It was really fun to get into the Christmas spirit with the s.
That night, Rebecca and Reid went out to dinner and we babysat Genna. Man! We love her so much! She is so happy and fun to play with. That blue dog is her favorite toy ever. His name is Sammy.
