Week of Christmas, Crafty Christmas-2 Quilts, An Apron, and 2 Pillows.

So this year I was very poor, but also feeling very creative and crafty. I looked in my huge sewing box and found that I had tons of fabric just sitting there waiting to be used. For all of these gifts I only had to but one thing: that bias tape for the apron. Everything else I had at home. I ended up giving the best gifts ever!
I made Genna an adorable quilt which I hope she will love more as she grows older, and my mom and I made Chad a jean quilt that I am sure he will use for many decades.
I made Rebecca an apron made of jeans that was absolutely adorable as well. It wasn't as easy as it looks either...
I made Avery an overstuffed yellow pillow with red stars that he loved as soon as he saw it. I was so happy! I was afraid that he wouldn't really know what to do with it, but he immediately loved it.
And for my dear cousin, Lauren, I made a pillow that I am jealous I don't own. I thought it was sooooooo cute and I am so glad that she likes it.

Christmas and the gifts involved were so much more meaningful when I spent so much time make these things with loving care.

P.S. On Christmas day my family played Nickelodeon Scene It, The Office DVD Game, and watched like 10 episodes of The Office. We had a lot of fun just playing with each other.
