School has become less of a dirty word and more of a sign of repetitive but mostly interesting days this semester. Yes, sometimes, like today, I become bored with going to the same classes at the same times day after day, but I'm happy because even if some of my classes are on the boring side at least they aren't on the too hard side. I am taking more credits than I was last semester, but I have been doing really well, ten times better than last semester. I think this is in part because of my new found love of peace, my change in attitude, and the fact that I am acing my 5 credit Latin class instead of failing it.
It is seriously amazing to me that I can be doing so well in a class I was literally almost failing just 6 months ago. Now, I am definitely at the head of the pack. In fact I was reminded today of my first semester at UVU when I had a teacher that wouldn't stop gushing over me. And then I got a lot attitude from my classmates. Today, my teacher was praising me in front of the class and I got a few snide remarks from classmates. Well, I don't care! I've done my time and I am very proud of my success. (And seriously people, we are in college. If you don't want to do well, get out.) It also makes me laugh because there was a boy I detested in my last Latin class because he always knew everything and my teach adored him. I didn't find out until after I took the final that he was retaking the class because he hadn't done well the first time. Well, I have turned into that boy. It just goes to show: judge not.
Anyway, I knew I should stick with Latin and now it is paying off.
Valete! Si salves, salveo.
(A common Latin farewell. Meaning: Goodbye! [Literally: be strong!] If you are well, I am well.)

Way to go! So happy for you! :D
Yay for you! I'm glad school is manageable, but can't wait until it's finished. :)
