Since last weekend I have found/rediscovered several things that help me find peace and relief from the stress that is my life. Last Saturday I went to a park to eat breakfast and read my book. I was there for about two hours from 9am to 11am. I can't describe how perfect it was. At work, I love to eat lunch outside to feel the sun, the grass, and the breeze. It is so invigorating! It was the same that morning. There was only one other person at the park and I could completely relax in the cool morning. I found this perfect bench and ate my yogurt and read and was just content.
Last weekend got even better when I went to my grandparent's house for a day. Monday was an absolutely gorgeous day and I marveled at the natural beauty all around me. The beautiful sunflowers, the sun, the clouds, and the beautiful blue sky. I took a mental picture as I sat in the shade and took it all in so I could think of this wonderful time later.
Last Wednesday I went to a yoga class at Bodhi Yoga in Provo. It was beyond perfect. I have always loved yoga and when I found this studio I was very excited. I was more than pleased. It was exactly what I needed. I can't wait to go back!
Life is not easy and the stress of it all can sometimes really weigh me down, but I am going to integrate nature and yoga and peace into my life and hopefully I will be able to cope with my life and enjoy the ride.
