Well, since January 1st, I have had many changes in my life. I started school at BYU, started a new job, BYU Continuing Education in the HR department, moved into a new ward, and into a new apartment! Needless to say, my new year's resolution was to survive the transition into my new life. So far, everything is good. School is ok, I am in a 5 credit Latin class that is kicking my butt, the ward is awesome, and I love my apartment.

Here is my new room:

Chest of drawers

Bed

Bookcase, desk, and window

Closet

Shower
Yes I know it is a little confusing. I share a shower with my roommate and friend, Natalie. The shower can be opened from both sides, but don't worry it can be locked too. :)

My own bathroom
Hello Aragorn!
After I got everything set up I invited my family over for games and cookies. I made the cookies with love, well, hearts anyway. I couldn't resist buying heart shaped measuring cups.

And a heart shaped plate. What can I say? I love my family and glittery pink plates.

After living in my apartment for two weeks I was sick of the living room. I wish I had before pictures, but I'll just tell you that it was very very boring. So I rearranged the furniture and put up some decorations and pictures.

Here is the first view of the living room. Yes that is Zac Efron. A girl who doesn't live in the apartment anymore left him and he has become a legend. Marisa said that he will protect me, but it is actually freaky when you walk into a dark apartment and see a dark figure in the living room.

In the next corner, we have the love seat and some pictures I took this summer up a canyon in the Paragonah area.
Traveling to the right, We have this table. The frame with the butterflies and flowers in it was purchases at DI for $1.00.

Next the coffee table and the couch. The candle and awesome flower/butterfly candle holder was also purchased at DI.

In the next corner we have the one-seater and the ottoman next to it. The gorgeous orange flower was taken by Natalie's sister, Karly. The butterfly set of pictures was taken by me in the same location as the pink flowers. I bought the lamp from craigs list.

And here is this area without Zac in the picture. The adorable hat is from when Natalie was in Little Mary Sinshine. Isn't it cute?
So, it took a lot of hard work and more money than I wanted to spend, but it was all worth it. My new life is going well.

What a darling job you did with decorating your apartment, Holly! You would be a great interior designer! So the shower picture is very interesting. How do you get in? Is there a step up to it or something? That is the strangest shower I have ever seen ,lol!
