My English Teacher Loves Me!

Not to brag, but my English teacher practically adores me.
She is this sweet, funny, older, woman who loves everything that I write. My confidence in writing has been kind of low for a couple of years, but it has definitely been boosted.
We have three papers this semester and for each one we have a first (and only) draft. I started writing on a Saturday and put the finishing touches on a Sunday night. I wasn't feeling very good about it because I had pretty much just sat down and written it without really looking over it. On this draft we can get a check mark (you did as much as expected for a first draft and you still have things to fix before you turn in your final draft), a check minus (you have lots of work to do before you turn in your draft), or a check plus (you basically already have an A paper and you are amazing and your name is Holly). Well, maybe not the Holly part because I know other people get check pluses, but it sounds good. Anyway, as already hinted at, I received a check plus! In class when talking about the papers my teacher kept using my paper as a good example. Yeah!
On our second paper, similar events occurred and again I received a check plus. In class she read my thesis and said that it was an amazing thesis and that she loved it! Wow! I know, I'm amazing. It gets better. Now we are writing a longer more in-depth paper and we have to write a proposal for it. I had quite a bit of trouble deciding my topic. So much so, that I still didn't know what I was writing about at 6:30 the night before it was due. I e-mailed my teacher to see if she had any ideas. She e-mailed me back with a few ideas and at the bottom she said, " My biggest concern is that if you, with your skills, are having trouble, others in the class may be as well." I was a little shocked, because here I was admitting that I hadn't started the assignment yet and that is what she says to me. So I decided to just write something to get the assignment done. I spent a few hours on it and got it done.
After class the next day I told my teacher that I didn't really want to write about that subject. She said, well I will just give you a blanket approval, because I know whatever you choose you can do. wow... So then I e-mail my teacher again today and let her know what I chose to write about. She said it sounded good and then she added at the bottom, "By the way, you did a fine job of the proposal." Wow! Sometimes I really amaze myself. My theory is that really there is just something that she likes about me and that is the meaning for the amazing grades and great feedback and that my work isn't really that great. Maybe I will send some to Mr. Rich...

Yay for you! Suggestion - you need to break up your post into paragraphs with spaces between. All of those words are so small and crammed together...a little hard to read. :) Love you!
