Reid's Birthday

Well, I still have more to say about my trip, so here I go.
On Friday, it was Reid's birthday. We started the day out with cinnamon rolls and bacon. Yum!

And then Reid opened his present from Rebecca. She got him a "Hairy Otter" shirt from the zoo that he has been wanting to buy for awhile.

My mom and I also bought Genna a shirt, because it is so cute and it has giraffes on it.

Then we headed out to Denver to spend the day. We visited friends, ate gelato at Gelazzi, went to Hard Rock Cafe, a shoe/accessory store called True Love, the Denver temple and to Cici's Pizza Buffet. What a fun day!

We arrived home at about 6pm and we realized we were all out of diapers! So Reid decided to run to the grocery store and get some. When I say run I actually mean run. He made the entire trip in 6 minutes and 30 seconds! Yes, King Soopers is very close to their house, but no matter how close a store is that is fast!

Then Bec and Reid went on a date while Genna and I had a 's night. Actually she went to bed at about 7, so I caught up on my blogging and watched Bones. I like Bones, but putting Genna to bed was the highlight of my night. There is nothing like holding a sweet little child in your arms and singing them to sleep. I have had this experience with both my niece and my nephew. I love them so much!
Then Becca and Reid got home and Bec and I did some more scrapbooking. Good times!
